Additional Notes

This ACA meeting integrates recovery and creative expression. Each meeting begins with a short reading from ACA literature (Big Red Book, Loving Parent Guidebook, or Strengthening My Recovery). Participants are then invited to spend about 15 minutes responding to the reading through creative expression using a medium of their choice, such as drawing, writing, poetry, music, or journaling. Members may share their creation and reflect on what came up for them. The meeting then continues with open ACA sharing related to recovery. This is not about performance or perfection; creativity is simply used as a gentle way to connect with our inner family and authentic selves. Sharing artwork is always optional, and no artistic experience is required. Focus: Discussion, Fellowship Text (BRB), Loving Parent Guidebook, Strengthening My Recovery, Workshop
