Additional Notes

This is a non-traditional ACA meeting dedicated to nurturing a spiritually sustainable recovery lifestyle. Each month, we explore an ACA recovery topic in combination with an external practice or tool—such as somatic work, creative expression, spiritual rituals, trauma-informed care, diet, plant-based healing, and other lifestyle practices. We ground our shares in ACA principles and literature while welcoming personal experience with outside tools. This meeting is inclusive of members in multi-program recovery who draw from a range of practices to heal, regulate, and grow. Our format includes conference approved literature readings, workshop questions, brief meditations/reflections, and open sharing. We also host a monthly speaker meeting. Members are encouraged to share from their personal experience and avoid giving advice or prescribing tools. This meeting uses both conference-approved and non-conference-approved content to support deeper reflection and sustainable daily routines. We respect the diversity of recovery paths and hold space for the unfolding of each person’s healing journey with humility, curiosity, and care. Focus: 12 Steps Yellow Workbook, Discussion, Laundry Lists Workbook, Loving Parent Guidebook, Speaker, Steps
